Junior scuba diver
The (Junior) Scuba Diver Course is fun, fast and an easy way to earn your first certificate.
To sign up for the (Junior) Scuba Diver Course you need to be at least 10 years of age, have the adequate swimming skills and you have to be in a good health condition.
The (Junior) Scuba Diver Course is actually a intermediate step to your Open Water Diver certificate. It is a part of the Open Water Diver Course i.e. the first 3 modules of theory, 2 confined water sessions concerning these modules and 2 open water dives.
You will first be taught by your instructor the essentials of diving during the theory lessons of the 3 modules in a relaxed atmosphere.
In the swimming pool or in shallow water you will perform the confined water sessions where you will practice to master the required skills to dive efficiently and safely.
Buoyancy control, ascending and descending, breathing underwater, buddy diving techniques, preventing common problems underwater, diving environments and aquatic life are all part of the course.
During the 2 open water dives you will put into practice the skills you learned in the swimming pool. And above all you will discover the wonderful underwater world of the Red Sea. You have the chance to gain confidence and comfort underwater.
The (Junior) Scuba Diver certificate allows you to dive under the supervision of a dive professional till a depth of maximum 12 meters.
After finishing successfully the (Junior) Scuba Diver Course it is just a small step to the Open Water Diver Course.
